Cookie Policy
This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy and explains how visulis.com uses cookies and similar technologies, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
The short version
Visulis Ltd sets no cookies of its own. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no visitor tracking. The only third-party content on the site is a web font service and, if you choose to watch a project video, an embedded YouTube player.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels and embedded players — can be used the same way. Under PECR, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for can be set without consent; anything else, including analytics and advertising, requires your consent. Because we use no non-essential cookies of our own, this site does not show a consent banner.
Third-party content on this site
| Service | What it does | When it loads | What it may set or receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts fonts.googleapis.com fonts.gstatic.com |
Serves the typefaces used across the site. | On every page load. | Does not set cookies, but Google receives your IP address and browser details in order to serve the font files. |
| YouTube thumbnails img.youtube.com |
Shows the preview image on each video in the Work grid. | Lazily, as you scroll the Work section. | Google receives your IP address and browser details. No cookies are set by the image request. |
| YouTube player youtube-nocookie.com |
Plays a project video inside the pop-up. | Only after you click a video to open it. | Loaded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set tracking cookies unless you play the video. Google receives your IP address and playback data. |
We have chosen the click-to-load approach deliberately: nothing from the YouTube player reaches your browser until you decide to watch something. Google's own handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
The enquiry form
The enquiry form does not use cookies. It contains one hidden field that is invisible to you and left empty by a real browser; if it comes back filled in, we treat the submission as automated spam and discard it. This is a spam control, not a tracking mechanism.
Server logs
Our host records standard access logs for every request — IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser type and referring page. These are kept for security and troubleshooting and are not cookies, so they are not affected by your cookie settings.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party content entirely. Doing so will not break this site, though fonts may fall back to your system typefaces and embedded videos may not play.
Changes to this policy
If we add a service that sets non-essential cookies — analytics, for example — we will update this page and introduce a consent banner before that service goes live.
